Parish Grade School
Michelle Etter, Principal
Kindergarten through 8th grade
The MISSION of St. Francis Borgia Grade School is to communicate God’s love, develop strong faith, inspire all to learn, and prepare students to live well in the 21st century. Being a Catholic school, religion permeates the entire curriculum. Our Catholic faith is a way of life, not just a subject that we teach. Students attend Mass and para-liturgies regularly. They help plan these liturgies and serve actively during them. Sacramental preparation takes place in grade two for Reconciliation and Holy Eucharist, and in grade eight for Confirmation.
In addition to Religion, the curriculum includes: Language Arts (reading, writing, listening, speaking and conversational Spanish), Math, Art, Science, Social Studies, Music: Vocal & Instrumental, Physical Education, Library skills and Computer Keyboarding.
