Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion are lay members of the parish who assist in the distribution of Holy Communion.  Some extraordinary ministers assist with Communion at Mass; others take the Eucharist to area nursing home and care facilities, to the sick and shut-ins at home.  

This ministry is for young adults ( minimum age of 18 years)  through adult who have been confirmed.  For those who participate in this ministry, we ask for a commitment of at least one weekend Mass per month.  Training and mentoring are provided.  We request that those participating in this ministry attend 1-2 formation opportunities each year.  This is a wonderful opportunity share the body and blood of Christ with your fellow parishioners.
