  • Thank you for your generosity throughout the year to Saint Francis Borgia!

    • Click the Online Giving link below to make your one-time or recurring gift to our parish or school.

  • Online Giving Through OSV

    • Our parish is happy to provide an electronic giving option for parishioners and friends of Borgia to make contributions to the parish.  This option makes use of current technology and security standards and allows you to easily setup one-time or recurring contributions.   It also enables our parish to take advantage of new tools to become more efficient.  Online Giving is provided by Our Sunday Visitor, a Catholic not-for-profit organization serving parishes for more than 100 years.

      Online Giving Parishioner Benefits

      • Secure and Confidential -- No need to share payment information with the church office
      • Efficient -- Set up direct withdrawals from your checking, savings account or a credit card
      • Simple -- Start, stop and change your contributions at any time
      • Convenient -- No need to write a check or have cash available

Online Giving is intended to be a convenient tool for you to use, and we strongly support both Online Giving and Offering Envelopes for contributions to the parish.  Online Giving is the electronic way to participate in weekly offertory.  Feel free to place the "I've Given Online" cards found in the pews in the Offertory basket as a visible sign of gratitude for all that God has given you and your family.

      Start Giving Online Today!

      1. Click on the Online Giving link above.
      2. If you are new to online giving through OSV, click on the link at the top of the page to "Create Your Account".  Otherwise, use your log-in credentials to "Sign In".

  • Turn your IRA Distributions into Tax Free Charitable Donations

    • Did You Know?

Individuals who are age 70 ½ and older can donate up to $100,000 per year tax free from their IRA to the church or other charity.  IRA distributions are generally taxable income, but with a QCD (Qualified Charitable Distribution) it is not included in your income so you avoid the potential negative tax consequences that regular IRA withdrawals can create.

Charitable contribution deductions are usually limited or eliminated altogether for taxpayers who do not itemize deductions, but making the donation via a QCD ensures that you receive the full tax benefit of the donation even if you do not itemize.  QCDs can satisfy all or part the amount of your required minimum distribution from your IRA for those age 72 or older.  The QCD must be made payable directly to the charitable entity.

Be sure to work closely with your financial and tax advisors to determine whether this provision is right for you.

This information is not meant as tax or legal advice.  Tax laws are complex and subject to change, please consult a professional advisor to determine how this tax law affects your situation.
